Your catalog is an asset. Treat it like one.

We prevent leaks of unreleased music and secure the accounts and people around it. For artists, managers and labels. Serious inquiries only.

Stage 01

Producer

The beat, the stems, and every alternate version of both.

Illustrative model — not a specific client engagement.

  1. 01 Producer. The beat, the stems, and every alternate version of both. How it gets out: Stems go out on transfer links that never expire, to a client list the artist has never seen. How they get in: A fake placement brief arrives with a contract attached. The beat marketplace login behind it has been reused since 2019.
  2. 02 Session. Reference vocals, scratch takes, the ideas that don't make the record. How it gets out: Session files sit on a studio drive that every engineer, assistant and runner can browse. How they get in: Guest wi-fi, an unlocked workstation, and a runner who gets talked out of the drive password by someone who sounds like they belong.
  3. 03 Engineer. Mix passes and rough bounces, revised nightly. How it gets out: A personal laptop with no disk encryption, backing itself up to a consumer cloud account. How they get in: That cloud account gets opened with a password from an old breach. A cracked plugin installer quietly reads every login saved in the browser.
  4. 04 Management. Approvals, and the snippet the team needs to hear tonight. How it gets out: The rough gets forwarded as a DM attachment. Screen-recorded on the other end in four seconds. How they get in: The manager's number gets ported to another SIM, which defeats text-message 2FA and opens the inbox. A look-alike label domain does the rest.
  5. 05 Label / A&R. Marketing, sync pitches, the release plan. How it gets out: A Drive folder left on anyone-with-the-link, so the deck opens clean on a stranger's phone. How they get in: Consent phishing against the workspace: no password is ever stolen, someone just approves a convincing app and hands over the folder.
  6. 06 Mix / Master. The final chain, at a facility nobody on the project owns. How it gets out: One shared login for the whole room, on a password reused across every client on the books. How they get in: That shared login turns up in a breach dump and gets tried everywhere until something opens. Nobody can say which of the twelve people it was.
  7. 07 Distribution. Upload, metadata, pre-release access. How it gets out: Contractor accounts from a campaign two years ago still hold pre-release rights. How they get in: A dormant contractor account and a forgotten integration token, both still authorised, neither attached to anyone who still works here.
  8. 08 Release. The first moment this file was ever meant to be public.

02 / Services

What we do.

01

Pipeline Mapping

Map every handoff a record passes through before release. Find where it can walk out.

  • Inventory of every person, device and transfer touching the record
  • Each handoff rated on how easily a file leaks there
  • The points most likely to lose the record
  • Fixes, ranked

02

Leak Prevention & Catalog Security

Keep unreleased masters, stems and session files where they belong.

  • Masters, stems and sessions locked down across collaborators and engineers
  • Cloud and shared-drive access cut to who needs it
  • Secure handoffs for features, mixes and masters
  • Release-window controls that close on drop day

03

Threat Response

Something dropped early, an account is gone, or a demand came in. We handle it.

  • Triage on a secure channel
  • Account recovery and takedowns
  • Evidence preserved without tipping off the source
  • Extortion handled to a plan

04

Security Checkups

A deep look at emails, numbers, social accounts and digital identity.

  • Emails, numbers, accounts and private info reviewed
  • Past breaches and exposed records surfaced
  • OPSEC and penetration testing to find weak points
  • Plain findings, plus removal and hardening

05

OPSEC & Threat Identification Training

Training on the attacks actually aimed at artists and their teams.

  • Real attacks on artists, walked through
  • What to click, share and trust. What not to
  • Hands-on practice, not a slide deck
  • Habits that hold after the session ends

06

Personal Info Removal

Pull personal info off the sites that sell it.

  • Removal from brokers like Whitepages and TruePeopleSearch
  • Ongoing sweeps for re-listed records
  • A record of what came down, and from where
  • Hardening so it does not come back

07

IP & Impersonation Takedowns

Infringing and impersonating content off the platforms when reporting fails.

  • Removals from Instagram, TikTok and X
  • Escalation past standard reporting
  • Proof of the violation packaged per platform
  • A record of what came down and what is pending

Takedowns are limited to intellectual property violations, leaked material and impersonation, and require documented proof of the violation. XR reserves the right to deny any request.

04 / Why XR

Music moves fast. Files move faster.

Shared logins. Late exports. DM’d links. Features added at 4am. Teams that change every project.

That speed makes records. It also leaves the door open.

We do not ask a studio to run like a bank. We secure the work without slowing the people making it.
